Police Spokesman Meets Media To Improve Communications
Thailand's National Police Office held a communications seminar to improve how it shares information with the public and media, focusing on building trust through transparent and timely messaging across all police commands.
The National Police Office spokesman team held a skill development and personnel integration seminar on July 8, 2569, led by Deputy Police General Trairongc Phiwpan, the National Police Office spokesman. The event included deputy spokespersons from major police commands nationwide and media representatives who exchanged views on topics including building public trust through communication, sharing positive police stories, and crisis communication. Deputy Police General Trairongc explained that the seminar included spokespersons from all police commands nationwide, with additional participants joining via Zoom. The discussions covered communicating factual case information, public safety warnings, legal education, crime prevention operations, and internal organizational communications to ensure officers understand police policies and directives. The goal is to advance police communications according to the National Police Commander's vision of professional policing that serves the public with honesty, integrity, and transparency, using the spokesman team's communication principle of "truthful, fast, clear, systematic, and people-focused."
