Free Farm Equipment Repairs for Nan Farmers Sept 12–15
Agricultural technicians will provide free repairs for flood-damaged farm equipment across three Nan districts from September 12–15, targeting 250 machines including tractors, pumps, and rice mills.
The Department of Agricultural Extension is mobilizing agricultural technicians and equipment specialists to provide free repair services for farm machinery damaged by flooding in Nan Province. The Department of Agricultural Extension, coordinating with Nan Provincial Agricultural Office and related agencies, has set a target to repair 250 machines across three districts: Tha Wang Pha, Pua, and Muang Nan. Eligible equipment includes walking tractors, grass cutters, sprayers, small rice mills, rice paddies tractors, water pumps, and other damaged farm machinery. Service locations and dates are: Tha Wang Pha District (September 12–14) at Ban Sop Bua Community Hall, Pua District (September 12–15) at Ban Don Sathorn Community Hall, and Muang Nan District (September 15) at Ban Nam Krok Mai Community Hall. The initiative is coordinated by the Agricultural Extension and Development Center Region 6 in Chiang Mai and the Kamphaeng Phet Agricultural Career Promotion and Development Center, with trained local agricultural technicians providing repairs. The service aims to help farmers reduce production costs and quickly return to farming operations after flood damage.
