Gold Price Volatile, GCAP Sees Rebound to 68,000 Baht Target
Gold prices are swinging as GCAP Gold watches for a rebound toward 68,000 baht if the metal can hold above $4,100. The firm cites the upcoming Fed minutes, U.S. data, Treasury yields, the dollar, and geopolitical risks as key drivers. Its trading plan suggests buying on dips near $4,100 and selling near $4,200–$4,225, with upside to $4,300 if resistance breaks.
GCAP Gold says the gold price is likely to trade in a range of $4,100 to $4,225, advising investors to wait for a base around $4,100–$4,110 (about 65,000–65,200 baht) before buying, and to consider selling near the resistance zone of $4,200–$4,225 (roughly 66,500–66,800 baht). If the price clears $4,225 and stays above it, the next targets are $4,250 and then $4,300 (approximately 67,300–68,000 baht). Should the price fall below $4,100, the firm recommends reducing long exposure and waiting for a new base around $4,000 (about 63,500 baht). The analysis highlights that the near‑term outlook depends on the Federal Reserve’s September meeting minutes, upcoming U.S. economic data, bond‑yield levels, the dollar’s strength, and geopolitical factors such as oil prices and U.S.–Iran tensions, which could either support or pressure gold.
