Group Of Teenagers Wielding Knives Clash At Traffic Light Near Hospital
Two rival groups of over 10 teenagers clashed with knives at a traffic light near a hospital in Kamphaeng Phet Province on September 20, prompting police investigation after the chaotic street confrontation alarmed nearby road users.
On September 20, around 12:40 p.m., a citizen recorded video of more than 10 teenagers from two rival groups running and attacking each other chaotically in the middle of the road at a red traffic light outside Pran Kratai Hospital in Pran Kratai District, Kamphaeng Phet Province. The teenagers used knives and threw objects at each other in what appeared to be a casual confrontation before all fled on motorcycles. No injuries were initially reported. However, the incident alarmed road users who feared stray blows, as the area is near both the hospital and Kutikaram Temple and is heavily trafficked by residents. Evidence has been forwarded to Pran Kratai District authorities and police for investigation and further legal action.
