He said he is now single and focusing on film and music projects, including his upcoming country album 'Heartbreak, Addicted, Dog Dies' set for release on October 20.
Pae Arak participated in a charity bowling activity and scholarship donation event titled 'Add Smiles to Fill the Heart' held at the Star Hall on the fifth floor of Paragon Cineplex. During the event, he addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding GUNNER – YOUNGGU’s rendition of the Add Carabao song, expressing his admiration for both artists. He said he likes GUNNER a lot and also respects Add Carabao, noting that the latter writes songs like social chronicles, which is commendable, and that GUNNER – YOUNGGU expand linguistic and musical frames, acting as innovations in today’s music scene.
Pae Arak emphasized that everyone is entitled to their opinion and that disliking the cover is not wrong. He revealed that he is currently single and is moving forward with his work in movies and music. He also spoke about his upcoming album titled 'Heartbreak, Addicted, Dog Dies', a country‑flavored record set to release on October 20, with three more songs to complete the ten‑track collection. The album blends country, folk, and acoustic styles, all self‑written.
He reflected on having faced criticism since his debut, saying it has made him thick‑skinned and that he creates music for those who appreciate it, acknowledging that no song can please everyone. Pae Arak added that while he doubts he will get a chance to jam with Add Carabao, he would be ready if invited, and he views the whole discussion as a sign that the topic has resonated with society.
