A female factory worker riding a motorcycle on a newly constructed road swerved and collided with another motorcycle, falling into the roadway where she was run over by a following car and killed instantly. Pluak Daeng Police are urgently reviewing CCTV footage to trace the fleeing driver for prosecution.

At 9:00 AM on November 6, 2026, Pluak Daeng Police Station in Rayong Province received a report of a fatal motorcycle collision at the three-way junction near the entrance to Soi 23 on Patang Kua-Pa Sai Road (also known as Palm-Pa Sai Road) in Moo Yang Phon Subdistrict, Pluak Daeng District. Police investigated alongside Pluak Daeng rescue workers.

The accident site was a section of road under excavation and construction with congested traffic. The deceased was a young female factory worker from the Moo Yang Phon industrial area. Nearby lay two fallen motorcycles; the male rider of the other motorcycle was injured and received immediate first aid from rescuers.

Preliminary investigation revealed that before the accident, the victim was riding her motorcycle through the rough, construction-affected road section when she sideswiped a motorcycle ridden by a young man, causing both bikes to lose control and fall. The impact threw the factory worker into the middle of the road. At that moment, an unidentified car following behind could not brake in time and ran over her head with great force, killing her instantly at the scene before speeding away.

Police initially documented the scene for evidence and are coordinating with investigators to review CCTV footage along the escape route to track down the driver of the vehicle that caused the death and proceed with legal action.
