Kasetsart University Engineering Program Donates 100,000 Baht for Hospital Project
Kasetsart University's engineering program donated 100,000 baht toward establishing a university hospital, part of a broader initiative to develop healthcare education and agro-medicine innovation.
The i-Leader curriculum at Kasetsart University's Faculty of Engineering has donated 100,000 baht to support the university's mission to establish Kasetsart University Hospital under the Medical Park Project. On September 11, 2026, university rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kongsak Thiangtham received the donation from the i-Leader program, led by Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Wanchai Yotsatjai, along with curriculum administrators, faculty, and staff.
The donation reflects Kasetsart University's distinctive approach to leadership development, emphasizing that learning should create value for others and society. True leadership means advancing not just oneself but also bringing others and society forward together. The university is establishing the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Pharmacy, and Kasetsart University Hospital to develop healthcare professionals and create medical knowledge and innovation in agro-medicine and bio-innovation, with the goal of becoming a center for medical services and sustainable improvement of public health.
The university invites alumni, staff, parents, students, and all who share this vision to contribute to the project, transforming it from "the university's hospital" into "the people's hospital." Donations can be made through the Punboon website or Thai Military Bank account number 069-2-77187-6 (Kasetsart University Hospital), and are eligible for double tax deduction under a Cabinet resolution from June 16, 2026, through the e-Donation system from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2027.
