Japan Airlines and Liverpool FC Launch Soccer Clinic for Thai Youth

Japan Airlines (JAL), the official airline partner of Liverpool Football Club, has partnered with Liverpool FC International Academy Thailand to organize the "LFC Soccer Clinic presented by Japan Airlines." The event brings the club's world-class football training program to Thai youth, guided by the philosophy of "The Liverpool Way." Sami Hyypia, a Liverpool club legend, and Natasha Dowie, official ambassador for Liverpool's women's team, attended the clinic to inspire and surprise the participants at Panda FC Bangkok Stadium 8.

The LFC Soccer Clinic represents a significant collaboration aimed at promoting community engagement and developing youth potential through football. As part of Japan Airlines' corporate social responsibility initiative, the program provided coaching and mentorship from Liverpool FC International Academy-certified coaches, focusing on both skill development and personal growth. Thirty-two Thai youth participated in the training sessions, which emphasized the principles of discipline, teamwork, and dedication that define "The Liverpool Way."

Takafumi Sawada, JAL Vice Chairman and Country Manager for Thailand, stated that the airline is proud to extend this global partnership beyond transportation services to create meaningful and lasting value for youth. He highlighted that JAL shares core values of dedication, commitment, and teamwork with Liverpool FC, and hopes that the lessons learned through "The Liverpool Way" will inspire the participants to pursue their dreams with discipline and determination.

Following the success of similar football clinics held in major cities worldwide including Philadelphia in the United States, Yokohama in Japan, and Hong Kong, Thailand was selected as an important destination for this program. Beyond the on-field training experience, the thirty-two Thai youth had the opportunity to learn from and be inspired by two Liverpool legends: Sami Hyypia, the club's former legendary defender, and Natasha Dowie, the club's first official women's team ambassador.
