JAL Sponsors Bangkok Liverpool Fan Run
Japan Airlines sponsored KOP RUN Bangkok 2026, bringing Liverpool Football Club's Anfield atmosphere to Thailand with special activities, meet-and-greets with club legends, and exclusive prizes for thousands of runners.
Japan Airlines (JAL), a five-star carrier and official airline partner of Liverpool Football Club, is delivering a special experience for Thai Liverpool fans as an official sponsor of KOP RUN Bangkok 2026.
This is JAL's first participation in a Liverpool-themed running event in Thailand, following the airline's elevation to global partnership status with the club. The collaboration aims to blend football passion with JAL's distinctive premium service to create unforgettable moments for thousands of runners and fans nationwide.
The event energized thousands of runners and supporters from dawn, who took on 10-kilometre and 5-kilometre routes. Highlights included appearances by Sami Hyypia, a Liverpool defensive legend, and Natasha Dowie, Liverpool Women's ambassador and the first female footballer to join LFC Legends.
A signature feature was the Anfield-inspired atmosphere brought to life in Thailand, with JAL providing major support and exclusive activity zones throughout the day. Participants could take photos at specially designed backdrops inspired by Anfield, enjoy JAL's popular Gachapon game with premium prizes, and stand a chance to win Liverpool home match tickets. The event also featured exclusive LFC x JAL commemorative merchandise and flight discount benefits for all runners.
