Two Democratic Party MPs wore white t-shirts printed with '7-157' during parliamentary debate on an Election Commission report on September 16, in what was understood as a symbolic gesture following the commission's decision not to prosecute Pheu Thai Party leaders in a censure case. The House of Representatives session, presided over by Deputy Speaker Mallika Jirapandhanvanic, reviewed the Election Commission's performance reports for fiscal years 2567 and 2568, presented by Election Commission Secretary Sawaeng Boonmee and his team. Democratic Party MPs Radkela Intavongsuwan and Kardi Liewpairojn, both deputy party leaders, wore the shirts into the chamber and participated in the debate. The number '7-157' was understood as a symbolic reference, with '157' referring to Article 157 of the Criminal Code and '7' representing the seven Election Commission members with the authority to cast the deciding vote on the censure case following the commission's majority decision not to refer charges against Pheu Thai Party leadership to the Election Division of the Supreme Court.
