Thai AirAsia Ends Bangkok-Seoul Route October 25
Thai AirAsia has discontinued its direct Bangkok-Seoul route after 12 years, citing falling demand among Thai travelers to South Korea. Affected passengers can rebook flights, claim refunds, or use travel credits through October 24.
Thai AirAsia has officially ceased its direct Bangkok (Don Mueang) to Seoul (Incheon) service from October 25, 2026, ending over 12 years of operations on this route. The decision follows declining interest from Thai travelers to South Korea. Ticket sales for the route halted in late October, prompting numerous cancellations for passengers who had booked flights for the year-end and early-year period.
The airline is providing four relief options for affected passengers: free flight rebooking by October 24, 2026; full refund; credit toward future travel; or alternative routing through Air Asia Malaysia via the Bangkok-Kuala Lumpur-Seoul path. Passengers holding tickets for October 25 onward should immediately contact Thai AirAsia at 020297864 (daily 9:00–18:00) to select their compensation option and avoid losing their entitlements.
