Kamphaeng Phet Noodle Shop Draws Crowds with Heaping Chicken Portions

Je Puk's Chicken Back Noodle shop in Kamphaeng Phet has gone viral on social media for serving massive portions of chicken backs, wings, and feet that nearly bury the noodles, all for just 50 baht a bowl. Owner Sujitra Tonbut, known as Je Puk, restocks the shop daily with fresh ingredients and a rich, slow-simmered broth, drawing a steady stream of locals and passersby who praise the generous servings and deep flavor.

The signature dish piles chicken backs, wings, and feet so high the noodles are barely visible. At only 50 baht per bowl, customers say the value is unmatched in today's cost-of-living climate. Diners gather around each table, picking tender meat from the bones, with many calling the experience of scraping meat off the ribs the highlight of the meal.

Je Puk previously ran a regular noodle stall in her village but closed it due to economic pressure and worked as a housekeeper in Bangkok for seven months. Unsuited to that work, she returned home, spotted chicken-back noodle shops on TikTok, and saw no one in her village selling the dish. She studied the recipe, added it to her menu alongside other noodles and pad kra pao rice, and word-of-mouth quickly filled the shop daily.
