The lead cast of 'Khemjira Forever' — Geng Harit, Namphing Nopphakhun, Tail Matimarn, and Firstwan Wannakorn — have reunited for a special episode, deepening both the psychology and relationships of their characters. The long-awaited return concludes fans' yearning for the series, which continues its story in a special episode format. At the 'Khemjira Welcome Back' event held today (October 31, 2026) at Thunder Dome, Muang Thong Thani, the four actors opened up about behind-the-scenes work, the story's uniqueness, and their feelings reprising beloved roles.
After the long wait, fans finally get to see 'Khemjira Forever' again. Namphing said: "It's been exactly one year, coming full circle a little over a year since it ended, and now we're back in the Khemjira atmosphere once more."
Geng shared: "Before starting the special part, I felt it would be difficult because we'd been apart for a year. I worried the continuity would be lost, but after workshops and additional acting training, by the first shooting cue the original atmosphere returned. It hadn't disappeared — it was still in both of us, and in Tail and Firstwan too, making the work flow smoothly. Plus, the same senior crew, production team, and director returned, making it very easy to work."
How long did it take to bring the 'Father Teacher' character back? Geng: "Probably the second cue before I really settled in. The first cue needed adjustment after the long gap. For this version of Father Teacher, the spells may be fewer because they're gone, but there's more focus on relationships and love. As mentioned, Khemjira Special will emphasize the relationship aspect — how it changes — and everyone will see this clearly."
How much more love? Namphing: "It increases a lot. In the first part, the focus was on winning hearts to save Khem from the curse. In the Special, the storytelling perspective expands to all four of us — Khemjira, Father Teacher, Jetna, and Chanwit — facing new missions, plus the dimension of coupled life and life after growth. It doesn't focus only on Khemjira but on the couples' stories and the friend group, adding more dimensions."
Over the past year, any fan feedback on what they wanted in Khemjira Special? Tail: "People still expect the scary elements, which will definitely still be there. But what you'll see more of is the relationships of all four characters who have grown up. You'll see more of Chan and Jet's relationship, plus the deeper relationship between Father Teacher and Khemjira."
Firstwan: "It's genuinely scary — even the filming locations give a scary feeling. But as the character Jetna, I'm not afraid of anything. The character is very brave. There may still be some witty lines, but the seriousness increases."
It seems Father Teacher will be more deeply in love? Namphing: "I think so. During filming I still wasn't used to it, because in the full season we didn't get this close — touching skin or embracing this much. But this season has a lot of it. I'm happy with Father Teacher getting to do what he wants, without the stiffness of before. Father Teacher's eyes this season are clear like pearls, filled with smiles of love when he gazes."
What's special about this version? Why must fans watch? Namphing: "There will be many things never seen in the first season. Importantly, it doesn't just have a number of..."
