Golf coach Pro Petch posted a heartfelt tribute on the "Golf Lessons Pattaya Pro Petch" Facebook page mourning his 15-year-old student Eyawarin "Eyeya" Pradabnyat, who was struck and killed by lightning while walking on a golf course in Chachoengsao province during heavy rain on November 1. The message read: "The cruel lightning may have snatched you from this world before you could brace yourself, but nothing can erase the memories of the 8-9 years we trained together from when you were 5-6 years old until 15. You were a student who always made me proud. Now you've surely become the brightest star in the sky. Go practice the most beautiful shots up there, my child. Rest in peace." He prayed for her safe passage and said her swing would remain beautiful in his heart forever. The family of Eyeya will hold an Islamic funeral ceremony on Tuesday, November 3, from 09:00 to 10:00 at Masjid Darul Ibadah on Sukhumvit-Pattaya Central Road to send off her spirit.
