Line Dance Competition Promotes Public Health Nationwide
Thailand held its 2025 Line Dance Competition at the National Stadium on July 24, advancing a royal-patronage sports initiative to promote nationwide public health and regular exercise participation across all regions.
On July 24, 2025, at the Nimitbutr Sports Building in the National Stadium, General Prachaya Promburom, chairman of the committee overseeing the Sports Development for Thailand Project under Royal Patronage, presided over the awards ceremony for the 2025 Line Dance Competition under the Department of Physical Education's public exercise and sports promotion program. The initiative aims to ensure people across all regions have access to exercise and sports activities as a way of life, promoting good physical health and improved quality of life. Air Vice Marshal Sammanmitra Pattana, committee member and deputy secretary, and Physical Education Department executives attended the ceremony.
The event advanced the work of the subcommittee on sports promotion, exercise, sports volunteering, and sports competition management under the Sports Development for Thailand Project under Royal Patronage.
Line Dance Competition results: Northeast region—first place: Yasothon Municipality Health Network Team, Yasothon Province; second place: Tha Bo District Line Dance Team, Nong Khai Province; third place: Lannavaminthra Health Club, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. Bangkok region—first place: Dance With Friend Team; second place: Khun Pa's Line Dance Team; third place: Yai Yai Sai Yo Team. Central region—first place: Lan Khiao Fiao Fa Wa Rayong Hi Team, Rayong Province; second place: Atjanthorn Hasaa Line Dance Club, Chanthaburi Province; third place: 8 Rows Rhythm Move Team, Chachoengsao Province.
