A longtail boat capsized and overturned near Naga Cape in Krabi province on August 15, 2025, at 11:15 a.m. Haad Noppharat Thara-Phi Phi Islands National Park received notification from Bork Khrai National Park and immediately dispatched officers to assist.
A speedboat successfully rescued all 12 people from the water, comprising 10 tourists, 1 guide, and 1 captain, and brought them ashore at Khlong Muang Beach.
National Park Region 4 (Thabkhaek) officers coordinated with rescue teams from Nong Thale Sub-district Administrative Organization and the Pittaksat Prachaa Foundation to provide first aid and triage the victims for appropriate hospital referral. The national park continues to monitor the situation and coordinate with relevant agencies for further assistance.
