Miss Thailand Earth 2026 Prepares for Miss Earth in Philippines
Miss Thailand Earth 2026 Alice Olivia Elizabeth Bucklin is preparing for the Miss Earth 2026 pageant in the Philippines by studying global environmental issues. A farewell event in Bangkok celebrated the eighth anniversary of sponsor Siri Thai Gems, with VIP guests including Mom Luang Daw Punyanuuch presenting the national sash. Alice aims to represent Thailand's environmental advocacy on the world stage among delegates from over 100 countries.
Thailand's Miss Earth 2026 representative Alice Olivia Elizabeth Bucklin is intensively studying global environmental issues ahead of the international pageant in the Philippines. The Miss Earth Thailand organization, led by President Dr. Sirikarn Anusanakran and Director Naruphan Narupiti, held a special farewell interview for Bucklin before her departure to compete at Miss Earth 2026. The event at Siri Thai Gems in the InterContinental Bangkok hotel drew VVIP guests and former titleholders who came to show support.
The occasion also marked the eighth anniversary of Siri Thai Gems as official sponsor. The highlight was Mom Luang Daw Punyanuch Khemasathorn Dulyachinda presenting the Miss Thailand Earth 2026 sash to Alice, joined by Chanakan Rakkhrai (Miss Earth Water 2026), Kanokkorn Pankong (Miss Earth Air 2026), and Aphiwat Chanta (Mister Earth Thailand 2026) who all offered encouragement.
Dr. Sirikarn described it as the organization's proudest day, noting that Mom Luang Daw's presentation of the sash to Thailand's representative — who will compete against environmental advocates from over 100 countries this December — provides crucial moral support. She emphasized Alice represents Thailand's most beautiful women with a heart for environmental protection.
Mom Luang Daw expressed delight in supporting the pageant, praising its focus on environmental issues amid global warming, flooding, pollution, and seasonal disruptions. She hoped beauty queens would help combat climate change and wished Alice success, promising a sapphire gift if she brings home the crown.
Alice said she is preparing by studying environmental problems worldwide, not just Thailand's known issues in Phuket and Bangkok, because Miss Earth is a global stage requiring knowledge of international problems and solutions. Regarding comparisons to Miss Universe Philippines 2025 and Pia Wurtzbach, and Filipino fans' enthusiasm, Alice vowed not to disappoint, promising to fight continuously from the Thai camp through the international competition.
