Residents of Lad Krabang expressed gratitude for the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment’s continuous assistance during the 12‑day flood response, praising the ‘MONRE United’ approach of Minister Suthichai Chomglin. Over the past two weeks, the ministry dispatched staff, vehicles and essential equipment to the Rom Klao–Lad Krabang housing estates through the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s Lad Krabang coordination centre, easing hardship and providing relief.
After floodwaters receded, the ministry shifted to a Big Cleaning campaign, integrating personnel to sweep away mud, piles of trash and lingering filth that threatened health and livelihoods. Minister Suthichai stressed that the government’s concern spans from emergency response to post‑flood recovery, ensuring no one is left behind under the ‘MONRE United, working together, leaving no one behind’ motto.
A Facebook user identified as “Puan Phan Kruab Si Bot Khawi Kobe Chivit Seri” — one of those affected in the Rom Klao–Lad Krabang area — thanked officials from the Forestry Department and the National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation Department for their hard work in the Big Cleaning, noting their efforts to wash away mud and move large amounts of garbage despite hot weather and strenuous conditions.
The user’s post highlighted how the clean‑up helps residents return to daily routines and earn a living more easily, while sending encouragement to the behind‑the‑scenes workers. Officials said the public’s appreciation motivates all involved agencies and underscores the importance of cooperation between government, community leaders and citizens in disaster recovery.
The Ministry pledged to continue collaborating with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, local leaders and relevant bodies to keep removing waste, clearing polluted sites and restoring a clean, safe environment, while offering encouragement to residents as they move forward together in line with the ‘MONRE United’ vision.
