Mor Lam Couple Ann-Boy Say Family Warmer After Adopting Twins
The popular Mor Lam couple Boy Sirichai and Ann Aradee said adopting twins Phet and Ploy has brought warmth and happiness to their family. Boy recalled he never imagined Ann joining his band unless she became his wife, and praised her supportive words over public praise. They shared how the twins have transformed their home and renewed joy for Boy’s mother.
The famous Mor Lam duo Boy Sirichai and Ann Aradee appeared on Club Friday Show, produced by CHANGE2561, to discuss their relationship and family life. Boy revealed he never wanted Ann to join his band; he believed she deserved more and insisted she could only stay if she became his wife. He said he liked her but was shy, and when people filmed him they’d ask when he would take a wife and child, to which he replied he’d only want a wife like Ann.
When asked how fans started shipping them, Boy said seeing them flirt on stage created chemistry. Ann added he would act like a prince charming wooing her. Boy admitted he thought about it, and Ann said he kept trying to kiss her cheek.
Regarding asking to be a boyfriend, Boy said proposing on stage meant being a boyfriend in the Lao sense, and Ann said she was surprised he would say that.
On their married life, Boy explained that when he had free time he wanted to be with her completely, but she sometimes felt annoyed, as if she was bored of his teasing. Ann said she is possessive and dislikes seeing him shirtless.
When asked about adopting children, Ann said they received twins after Boy called a monk who said a woman would bring the children; the monk said to take them, saying angels had sent them. Boy said the monk told him angels delivered the kids.
Since the twins entered their lives, Boy said having Phet and Ploy warmed their household—food cabinets that were once empty now have color, and the refrigerator is no longer bare. Ann said Boy’s mother, who had been lonely and rarely smiled after her own mother’s death, now laughs more because she has grandchildren to spend time with.
Ann concluded that while many people praise them, nothing compares to a single kind word from his wife, which heals and sustains them. Boy echoed that a wife’s supportive words matter more than applause from strangers on the street.
