Mother Reports Son for Hiring Rescue Team to Kidnap Her

A mother in Bangkok filed a police complaint against her biological son after he allegedly hired a rescue team to abduct her and confine her at an elderly care centre in Kanchanaburi. She says she remembers the captors’ tattoo and vehicle license plate, and that her son shows no remorse, insisting the incident should serve as a lesson. Police are now investigating the kidnapping and illegal detention involving the son, the rescuers, and staff at the care facility.

Mother Philat recounted the day she was abducted. She said she remembered the tattoo on the captor’s hand and the license plate of the vehicle, and expressed disappointment that her son seemed unaware of the gravity of his actions, hoping this incident would serve as a lesson.

At 10:00 a.m. on October 8, 2026, at Wang Thonglang Police Station, Akkaphol Huangprasert, founder of the Sai Mai Must Survive page, together with his team, brought Mother Philat to meet Police Colonel Jedsada Yangnok, station chief, to file charges against all individuals involved in the abduction and confinement after her biological son allegedly hired a rescue vehicle to seize her and hold her at an elderly care centre in Kanchanaburi Province.

Akkaphol stated that the complaint aims to pursue the fullest legal liability against every participant in the kidnapping scheme—whether the son, the hired rescuers, or personnel at the care facility. He noted that after their appearance on the ‘Hone Krasae’ talk show, they had spoken with Mother Philat, who said she had wanted to press charges from the very beginning, since the incident occurred at her home in Wang Thonglang. According to information, the rescue team admitted to restraining Mother Philat.

Mother Philat said she wants police to investigate and prosecute everyone involved according to the law, whether her son or others. Although she feels maternal pity, she believes the matter is serious and must be a lesson. When she later saw her son after the incident, he told her he did not know what conditions were like inside the care centre, which is why he acted as he did.

She continued: On the day of the incident, her son was present at the scene, claiming he wanted to discuss work. When she opened the front gate with her remote, two strangers entered together. One approached from behind, covering her mouth, while the other lifted her legs and carried her outside the fence to a waiting van parked beside the wall.

After being placed in the back of the van and the captor releasing his grip on her mouth, she cried out for help. The man then shoved her further into the van, punched her, and told her not to scream before handcuffing her and laying her on a stretcher inside the vehicle. She recalled seeing a tattoo on the man’s hand and repeatedly asking where they were taking her, fearing she might be killed.

During the journey, the van stopped at a petrol station beneath the U-turn bridge on Phetkasem Road 97, where they switched to another van parked side‑by‑side, forcing her to move to the second vehicle without a chance to escape or call for help, fearing further violence.

As the first van pulled away, she managed to note and memorize the license plate of the vehicle that had seized her. While en route, she asked to use the toilet due to stomach pain, but her captors refused, telling her to urinate in her pants if she could not hold it. She then asked her guards whether her son had brought her there to be killed, urging them to end it quickly if that was the intention.

Upon arrival at the elderly care centre in Kanchanaburi, her wrists were tightly handcuffed, leaving bruises. Two men and one woman came to take her. When she turned and saw her son at the scene, she could not cry out because she felt a lump in her throat, and she realized her son had indeed arranged the abduction.

She was then taken to a room and detained. A woman calling herself “Jeaw Maew” claimed to be a nurse and the owner of the facility. When Mother Philat raised legal concerns, the woman threatened her, stripped off her clothes and continued to intimidate her.
