Doctor One: Skip Alcohol, Sugar, Starch to Lose Liver Fat
Doctor One advises that cutting alcohol, sugar, and starch can quickly reduce fatty liver, shrink the belly, and promote weight loss. He says supplements are generally ineffective and instead recommends dietary changes paired with protein and exercise. The advice was shared in a Facebook video on the Healthy Hero page.
He explains that many people ask how to deal with belly fat and fatty liver without buying supplements, noting that ordinary supplements usually don’t help. Instead, he recommends avoiding three things: alcohol, which directly contributes to liver fat; sugar, which turns into fat when consumed in excess; and starch, especially low‑fiber refined carbs like white rice, noodles, bread, and pastries, which break down into sugar and store as fat. Doctor One suggests choosing high‑fiber starches, eating them with protein and vegetables, and not eating starch outside of meals. Pairing starch with protein sources such as meat, milk, eggs, beans, or tofu prevents overeating carbs and allows the body to burn fat during exercise, leading to weight loss and reduced liver fat.
