On October 12, 2069 BE (2026 CE), a 32-year-old motorcycle delivery rider crashed into the rear of a 10-wheel truck and died instantly. He was then struck again by another motorcycle before the rider fled. Police from Bang Khuang station and the Poh Teck Tung Foundation arrived to investigate after receiving reports of a motorcycle rear-ending a 10-wheel truck with fatalities. The crash occurred on the Bang Si Thong overpass on Nakhon In Road in Bang Si Thong subdistrict, Bang Khuang district, Nonthaburi province. Authorities coordinated with forensic doctors from the Institute of Forensic Science. At the scene they found the body of Mr. Da, aged 32, the rider, lying beside the truck’s spare tire. Nearby was his damaged Yamaha Grand Filano motorcycle, gray in color, with a Bangkok registration plate, its front smashed beyond repair. The Mitsubishi 10-wheel truck bearing a Phuket plate was parked at the base of the overpass about 100 meters from the impact point; its rear showed damage and debris from the motorcycle lodged there, and the truck’s spare tire was missing. Truck driver Saksan, 36, said he felt a strong rear hit while driving from his company on Buddhamonthon 2 Road toward Bang Khen, pulled over to safety, inspected the rear and found damage and the missing spare tire, then went back to the overpass where he saw the rider lying next to his wrecked motorcycle. Good Samaritans reported that after the initial collision a red motorcycle struck the rider’s body again, lost control and fell, then got up and fled on the bike. Police took statements from the truck driver and are reviewing CCTV footage from the scene. The rider’s body was handed to the Poh Teck Tung Foundation for transfer to the Institute of Forensic Science for autopsy.
