Muang Thai Life Offers 60-Day Premium Extension for Flood Victims

Muang Thai Life Assurance announced the following flood-relief measures for policies with premium due dates between September 20 and December 31, 2026: first, it extends the premium payment grace period by an additional 60 days beyond the original grace period; second, it allows policyholders to renew or reinstate lapsed, automatically converted, or extended policies within six months of the due date without charging interest or requiring a medical exam; third, it waives interest on automatic policy loans used to pay premiums via cash‑value withdrawals if the loan is repaid in full within six months after the due date; and fourth, it issues replacement policies free of charge for those lost or damaged in the flood. The first three measures do not apply to unit‑linked life insurance policies in the provinces of Tak, Phitsanulok, Phetchabun, Kamphaeng Phet, Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Lop Buri, Sing Buri, Chai Nat, Suphan Buri, Kanchanaburi, Ang Thong, Saraburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Samut Prakan, Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Chachoengsao, Sa Kaeo, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat, Buri Ram, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Surin, and Bangkok, according to the disaster situation report of September 30, 2026.
