Thai Commercial Bank has announced emergency relief measures for customers affected by flooding across all 50 districts of Bangkok and other flood-impacted provinces designated by the Interior Ministry. The bank is offering assistance to individual customers, business borrowers, and SME operators through both payment suspension programs and special loans for home and business repairs.

The flooding has caused widespread damage to property and livelihoods. Thai Commercial Bank recognizes the hardship and stands ready to help customers mitigate the impact. The bank's emergency measures cover both existing and new customers, including debt deferment and new financing for home repairs and business recovery.

Debt Suspension Measures (for current bank customers):

For individual customers and small business operators: Home loans can defer principal payments for up to 3 months (paying interest only). Auto loans can defer payments for up to 3 months, with the loan term extended accordingly (borrower age at loan maturity not to exceed 65 years). Business loans can defer principal payments for up to 3 months (paying interest only).

SME Business Customers: The bank offers relief to operators affected directly or indirectly through three main measures: principal payment deferment for up to 6 months, deferment of both principal and interest for up to 3 months, and temporary revolving credit increases of up to 20% of the existing limit, capped at 10 million baht.

New Loan Assistance:

For home loan top-ups: Free collateral appraisal for single houses, duplexes, townhouses, condominiums, and commercial buildings. Customers must complete the appraisal by December 31, 2569, and draw the approved amount within 10 business days.

For SME customers: Loans for repairs or replacement of damaged business assets up to 20% of the existing limit and capped at 10 million baht, with repayment terms up to 7 years. Interest rate is 4% for the first 2 years, then reverts to the standard rate for the original loan amount.

Customers can apply at any Thai Commercial Bank branch or by calling the SCB Customer Center at 02-777-7777 ext. 99, or for SME customers, the SCB Business Call Center at 02-722-2222. Applications are accepted from September 26 to December 31, 2569.
