Krung Thai Bank has announced relief measures for flood-affected customers as follows:

Relief for existing loan customers:

Home loans and SSME business loans (Term Loan): Monthly payments reduced 75% for one year, with 0% interest annually for three months, then fixed at 2.5% per year for 33 months (total special interest period of three years).

Personal loans (Term Loan): Monthly payments reduced 75% for one year, with fixed interest at 4.5% per year for three years.

SME business loans: Support measures include interest rate reductions, payment reductions, principal payment deferrals, interest-only payments, principal and/or partial interest deferrals, contract extensions, and adjusted repayment schedules. Terms and eligibility criteria are determined by the bank and tailored to individual customers to reduce financial burden and reflect economic conditions and income expected to recover in the future.

Loans for business recovery and home repairs:

Home top-up loans, home refinancing loans, and SSME business loans (Term Loan): Fixed interest at 0% per year for three months, then fixed at 2.5% per year for 33 months (total special interest period of three years; for home loans, appraisal and mortgage registration fees are waived).

Personal loans (Term Loan): Fixed interest at 4.5% per year for three years.

SME business loans (Term Loan): Maximum term not exceeding seven years, with special interest starting at 3.5% per year for the first two years, then MLR minus 1% per year thereafter.

Application period: Customers may express interest in participating from August 24, 2026 to December 31, 2026, and must submit their application within three months of the flood event.
