On May 2, 2025, at the New Recruit Training Center of the Royal Thai Navy's Military Education Department in Bangsaen, Sattahip, Chachoengsao Province, Admiral Paitoon Chichana, Commander of the Navy's Military Education Department, and Captain Tiwa Onlalao, Commander of the New Recruit Training Center, along with their command staff, welcomed the 1/69 batch of new recruits at the reporting station, inspected operations, and encouraged the recruits who had traveled to report for duty.
A total of 2,950 naval recruits from the 1/69 batch reported for duty, including those who registered through special request methods via online and selection systems. The recruits underwent a comprehensive reporting process including health screening stations, drug and contraband testing stations, unit assignment and financial transaction processing stations, and equipment issuance stations as they joined the Royal Thai Navy family as the "Navy's newest members." All procedures at each station were conducted to high standards in an efficient, orderly, and safe manner, preparing them to enter an eight-week training program designed to develop them into strong and brave naval personnel.
