Nongnooch World Pattaya Photo Contest Awards 100,000 Baht Top Prize
Sakchai Rueankam’s photograph "Amidst the Rain" won the top prize of 100,000 baht at the Nongnooch World Pattaya photography contest. The event awarded a total of 66 prizes across categories including selfies, AI‑generated images, and special awards. Nongnooch World Pattaya said the winning images help promote the garden’s beauty to tourists and encourage repeat visits.
Sakchai Rueankam’s photograph "Amidst the Rain" won the top prize of 100,000 baht in the general photography category of the Nongnooch World Pattaya photography contest. The ceremony took place on October 4, 2069 at 14:00 in the Foong Fa meeting room, with Kampol Tansajja, chairman of Nongnooch Pattaya Garden, awarding the 58 main prizes and eight special jury prizes, for a total of 66 awards. The competition covered general photography, selfies, action‑camera shots, smartphone and tablet images, AI‑created works, and assorted special categories, giving entrants the freedom to convey their impressions through varied techniques and ideas such as timing, light, composition, and imaginative narration. Besides the overall winner, other notable recipients were Santi Setsin, who won the selfie category with 10,000 baht for "Visiting Nongnooch Garden… bringing him home", and Worakorn Kongkaew, who took the E‑scolar award with 50,000 baht for "The Bond of Happiness". Sak Sawaros captured the AI‑based image category with 50,000 baht for "Fun at Nongnooch Garden", while Chitsanupong Kathiphu received the special Nongnooch Pattaya Award of 50,000 baht for "Light of Two Worlds". Nongnooch World Pattaya praised the photographers’ skill and dedication, noting that the images serve as a bridge linking the garden’s beauty with tourists, inspiring those who have not yet visited to experience it themselves and inviting past visitors to discover new angles again.
