Nonthaburi Player Reaches Main Draw at Thai National Tennis Championship
Peeyaphan Chiravanichcharoen from Nonthaburi advanced to the main draw of the 86th Thai National Tennis Championship after winning a three-set qualifying final on September 17, with seven other players also securing spots in the tournament.
The 86th Thai National Tennis Championship, offering 1 million baht in total prize money, held its final qualifying round on September 17, 2569 at the National Tennis Development Center in Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi Province. In the men's singles qualifying final, Peeyaphan Chiravanichcharoen from Nonthaburi defeated top-seeded qualifier Phanupong Ruttanakoch from Lopburi in a closely contested three-set match. Peeyaphan won 2-1 with a scoreline of 2-6, 6-3, and a super tiebreak 11-9, securing his place in the main draw.
Seven additional players also advanced to the main draw after winning their final qualifying matches. Results included: Tawan Rattaseri (Bangkok) defeated Surasak Pongsupa (Lopburi) 6-1, 6-1; Swit Kitinirungrukkul (Bangkok) defeated Nopvichaya Paoin (Bangkok) 2-6, 6-3, super tiebreak 10-4; Pabangkorn Boonruit (Surat Thani) defeated Dujpawarin Klinsuwarn (Bangkok) 6-0, 6-0; Krutphas Lomsombat (Nakhon Pathom) defeated Krutchai Noydaeng (Pathum Thani) 6-1, 6-3; Wordith Patthamarojan (Uthai Thani) defeated Phalkrit Saengtong (Bangkok) 6-0, 6-1; Supruk Suwannarak (Surat Thani) defeated Chatchawan Jitrkul (Chumphon) 6-0, 6-0; and Pawares Thongwinit (Bangkok) defeated Nattakitti Thirachotijiranun (Prachuap Khiri Khan) 6-4, 6-1.
The 86th Thai National Tennis Championship main draw will run from September 18-26, 2569 at the National Tennis Development Center in Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi Province.
