After attending the launch event for the original series "The Remarried Empress" at the ATRIUM 1, G Floor, Siam Center, lead actress Pancake Khemanit opened up about the controversy surrounding Boom Pannada Wongphudee's charitable foundation, with whom she has collaborated on charity work multiple times.

Asked whether she is connected to the foundation's inner circle, Pancake said: "There have been opportunities to help together, to join activities with P'Boom, and chances to meet." When pressed if these were mostly joint activities, she replied: "Whenever there are charity events or activities requiring hands-on help, we meet P'Boom and the team that goes to help." On donations: "Mostly goods, going to make merit together." On their history: "I've known P'Boom for a very long time. We've done merit-making together for a long time. She's always been a lovely older sister. You see P'Boom as a strong woman driving things forward. From the older-sister perspective I've always seen, I respect the intention she puts into things across many past events."

On her feelings seeing the recent news compared to what she witnessed: "As an older sister, I still respect, love, and honor her the same. On other matters, I'll wait and follow the situation." Asked if she messaged Boom: "Not yet. I just hope everything passes smoothly and resolves in the best way possible."

Does Boom's long history of good deeds make it hard to disbelieve? "I try to separate things from the side of P'Boom I've always known, and the things she's done for many parts of society. Pancake thinks there's much that's been a good example for everyone. I'll gradually consider things properly. I believe there are many things we may want answers to right now, but as a younger sister who loves her, for now it's about giving encouragement and then considering everything together."

Maintaining goodness can be difficult. How does Pancake maintain her own integrity? "Everyone can do it, but there may be many things, some left, some right, depending on the story — even for myself. But if I try to keep myself on the path I think is appropriate, what I can do without harming anyone, that's what I've intended in my work all along. But no one is perfect, never making mistakes — that's probably impossible."

When turbulence enters your life, how do you cope? "For Pancake, it goes back to family. Fortunate to have my parents, we've walked this path together. They correct me left and right continuously. When it's too much or too little, Mom nudges me a bit. I still want to pursue this career path, to keep working. So I must take care of myself on my path. (Are people around you important?) Very important. Environment leads us. Since we work in media, what we say we try to be careful and considerate about. It's encouragement for everyone and everything."

Highway Police and the Department of Highways will launch a new Sunday traffic plan on the M6-Mitraphap corridor starting November 8th, using reversible lanes to ease the heavy afternoon return flow from Nakhon Ratchasima to Bangkok.
