Prime Minister Anupong Chauyvasin insisted all procedures must follow the law when questioned about the Huay Sai Senate controversy, which has spread from the Election Commission to other agencies. Speaking at Don Muang military airport on September 20 before departing for the 81st UN General Assembly in New York, the PM said everything operates within the constitutional framework that defines what independent bodies can decide and what rights citizens have. When pressed on whether Thai Pride Party had assessed public skepticism about its claimed non-involvement, Anupong said there was nothing to assess because the party has no connection to the matter.
