Po Teck Tung Foundation Aids Fire Victims in Bangkok
Po Teck Tung Foundation distributed 181,800 baht in cash and supplies to 39 people displaced by a September 4 fire in Bangkok's Wang Thong Lang district.
On September 11, the Po Teck Tung Foundation, led by Assistant Director Chudej Techapaibuul and General Manager Aranyut Totod, distributed financial relief and consumer goods to fire victims in the Rung Mani Pattana community in Wang Thong Lang district, Bangkok. The fire occurred on September 4, affecting 17 families comprising 39 people. The foundation provided 3,500 baht cash per person totaling 136,500 baht, along with household supply packages valued at 30,000 baht and individual supply kits worth 7,500 baht. Additionally, the Phuttha Samakhom Pathumrung Foundation contributed 7,800 baht worth of rice, bringing total relief assistance to 181,800 baht. District Director Arunee Intanom and various government officials participated in the distribution event at Intrachaya College of Commerce in Wang Thong Lang. Over its 116-year history, Po Teck Tung Foundation has expanded its charitable programs widely, supporting the underprivileged regardless of ethnicity or religion, guided by its motto "Po Teck Tung: Save Life, Preserve Life, Create Life."
