Police Bust Drug Party at Bangkok Entertainment Venue

At 1:30 a.m. on August 2, 2569, anti-narcotics and vice suppression officers from Wangthomlang Police Station, led by Police Colonel Jesada Yangnork, raided an unmarked building in Phlabphla subdistrict, Wangthomlang district, Bangkok, following intelligence about illegal entertainment operations and drug use.
The operation resulted in 12 arrests: 11 Myanmar nationals (including one minor under 18) and one Thai facility manager. Officers seized approximately 0.583 grams of ketamine, drug-related equipment, beer, and restaurant receipts. When police entered, loud music was playing and patrons were actively using drugs and dancing.
All 11 Myanmar nationals face charges of illegal possession of Class 2 psychotropic substances (ketamine). Some also face immigration violations for lacking travel documents.
The Thai facility manager faces multiple charges including: allowing drug offenses to occur on premises, permitting minors under 18 to enter, operating without proper licenses, exceeding operating hours, selling alcohol without a permit, and violating alcohol sales hours.
Authorities transferred the suspects and evidence to Wangthomlang Police Station for processing and coordinated with relevant agencies to verify the immigration status of all foreign nationals and pursue further legal action.
