Investigative police searched the residence and Nong Chok Subdistrict Administrative Organization (SAO) offices after Phetchaburi Provincial Court issued an arrest warrant for the female SAO president in connection with the shooting of a former kamnan. Officers found only her vehicle but not the suspect herself.

The case involves gunmen on a motorcycle who fired at a Toyota Fortuner driven by Mr. Luean (surname withheld), former kamnan of Nong Chok subdistrict, Tha Yang district, Phetchaburi, while he was driving near the railway overpass on the Ban Xong-Nong Bo road in Ban Lat district. The bullets missed and he survived miraculously. The incident occurred on the morning of October 6, 2026.

The same day, Ban Lat police investigators gathered evidence and obtained court approval (warrant 459/69) to arrest Mr. Anusorn (surname withheld), 40, and Ms. A (alias), 38, his girlfriend. They were charged with attempted murder and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.

On October 14, police expanded arrests to include Ms. Phon, 34, from Puek Tian subdistrict, Tha Yang district, and Mr. Bai Khan, 44, from Khao Kra Puk subdistrict, Tha Yang district, who worked as an employee at Nong Chok SAO. They were charged with assisting offenders to avoid or reduce punishment, and destroying, concealing, or removing evidence.

Most recently on November 4, 2026, Region 7 investigation police, Ban Lat investigators, and Phetchaburi Provincial Special Operations Unit executed a court warrant to search a housing project in Samo Phlue subdistrict, Ban Lat district, and the Nong Chok SAO to arrest Ms. Atcharaphon (surname withheld), president of Nong Chok SAO, who is wanted for hiring others to attempt to kill former kamnan Mr. Luean.

The search of the residence did not find Ms. Atcharaphon. At Nong Chok SAO, only her black Toyota Fortuner was found parked, but she was not there. Preliminary investigation indicates that in the morning Ms. Atcharaphon drove the Fortuner to perform normal duties at Nong Chok SAO before someone drove her away from the office, after which she could not be contacted.
