Lawyer Khai Muk Denies Threats, Stalking Claims in Temple Dispute
Celebrity lawyer Arnutcha "Khai Muk" Rungreung Naparat denied all allegations after Buddhist writer "Ben Khon Klang" and YouTuber "Nat Phi" filed a police complaint accusing her and a male associate of threats, stalking, and secretly photographing them. The dispute originated from her role as a temple advisor where she questioned irregularities in a merit-making event. Khai Muk insists she never embezzled temple funds and has evidence but chose not to release it publicly, urging the public to verify claims critically.
Lawyer Khai Muk Denies Threats, Stalking Claims in Temple Dispute
At 12:40 p.m. on November 4, 2026, at the Central Investigation Bureau, Arnutcha Rungreung Naparat, known as Lawyer Khai Muk, gave an interview regarding the case filed by Traiphol Naksomboon, aka "Ben Khon Klang Klangwicha," a Buddhist writer, along with Nat Phi, a YouTuber from the "Nat Phi Official" channel, and a group of several hundred supporters. They traveled to file a complaint alleging that a famous female lawyer-influencer and her close male associate threatened, intimidated, stalked, and secretly photographed them after a dispute over organizing a merit-making activity at a temple in the North on October 29.
Lawyer Khai Muk stated that when images and messages were circulated through media with hashtags referencing her and "influencer," she saw the news and noted that photos from her personal Facebook account "Kai Jamjerd" — her original name — and her personal page were disseminated. She described the situation as a narrative claiming "she caused the value of certain goods to decline," with estimated damages ranging from hundreds of thousands to billions of baht, because the group had operated for over 10 years with a solid follower base built through continuous fan management.
She explained that long-term event plans for the next 10-20 years had never encountered problems until this year, when she was appointed as the temple's advisor and had the duty to oversee and inspect operations. Upon performing her duties, she discovered suspicious matters that might be incorrect, including whether famous individuals had properly obtained permission to film within the temple grounds. Previously, a warning was sent via Lawyer Arm informing them the issue remained problematic and filming could not proceed on the ancient site, leading to a request to stop the video clip, which the other party acknowledged could not be done.
Regarding evidence, she possesses audio clips and relevant information but had not released them previously, believing that when the other party acts incorrectly, they should accept the consequences rather than accuse her of creating fake Facebook accounts to deceive the group or mislead followers. She emphasized she does not intend to label sincere supporters or fans of these individuals as gullible, but wants everyone to use discretion in evaluating information and verify histories thoroughly, as trust in a person is crucial. She urged the public to review past records and clips mentioning the endorsement of certain Buddha images, including claims about arahants or the status of Buddha images, which the public should scrutinize with critical thinking.
Addressing criticism that she speaks harshly or her behavior has changed from her former image, she pointed out that reviewing her Facebook history over the past 10 years shows she has always spoken clearly and directly, not suddenly adopting such behavior recently. Her appearance on the program that day aimed only to discuss and find a way to recover the money, not to initiate a lawsuit.
