Popular Thai YouTuber Hlun Solo Found Dead in Georgia Hotel
Travel YouTuber Hlun Solo, 26, was found dead in a Tbilisi hotel on July 29 with no signs of violence; the Thai Embassy is investigating while his family decides next steps.
Following confirmation of the death of Bawornthut Pengsuk, known as Hlun Solo, a 26-year-old famous travel YouTuber, on July 29, 2025, his body was discovered in a hotel in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. The Thai Embassy in Ankara announced that embassy officials received confirmation from local police that all of Hlun Solo's possessions remain intact, and the embassy will pursue a thorough investigation into the facts without neglecting any relevant matters.
The embassy has requested cooperation from all parties to respect the family's privacy and their preferred course of action, and will work closely with the family to coordinate further developments. The embassy expressed gratitude to all Thai citizens in Georgia who provided helpful information and collaborated effectively with the embassy in tracking the case.
Most recently, during an episode of the popular show Nohkrataeng hosted by Noun Karachai, Chern Moss, and Kob—Hlun Solo's siblings—appeared as guests alongside Wan Chai, a renowned travel YouTuber and owner of the "Asapainao" page, who has been coordinating and assisting in the search efforts.
During the program, Wan Chai revealed details of his conversation with Georgian police regarding Hlun Solo's death. He stated he had spoken with Georgian police who confirmed on July 14 that Hlun Solo's body was found in a hotel in Tbilisi. The initial cause of death remains unknown, with no wounds or evidence suggesting violence or foul play. The body appeared as though he had simply fallen asleep. Hlun Solo's remains are being held at the forensic institute awaiting autopsy.
"Police said that only family members or authorized representatives can claim the body by submitting a request online," Wan Chai noted.
