PTT Thailand Grand Prix Taekwondo Draws Over 300 Athletes
Over 300 taekwondo athletes competed in the PTT Thailand Grand Prix 2026 tournament in Ayutthaya from August 21-23, with top performers eligible for national team selection and international competition.
Officials from the Sports Authority of Thailand, Ayutthaya City Park Shopping Centre, and the Thai Taekwondo Association jointly opened the PTT Thailand Grand Prix 2026 taekwondo tournament at Ayutthaya City Park Shopping Centre on August 22. The competition runs August 21-23 with over 300 athletes competing for selection. The tournament is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Sports Authority of Thailand, and the Thai Taekwondo Association, targeting talent identification at all levels for future national team membership. High-performing athletes can accumulate points toward national team selection and progress to international-level competition.
