School Overrun By Millions Of Insects, Parents Alarmed
Millions of centipede-like insects have invaded a Chachoengsao school, alarming parents who fear the creatures could harm children despite repeated cleaning efforts. Officials suspect the infestation originated from an adjacent rubber plant
Millions of insects have invaded Wat Soi Wong School in Samphi Noi subdistrict, Kaeng Hang Maeo district, Chachoengsao province, on July 1, 2569, alarming teachers, students, and parents. Inspections found large numbers of the creatures—which locals call "seam centipedes"—scattered throughout classrooms, storage rooms, and unused rest areas. The insects have hard, dark skin with patterns resembling centipedes and have a frightening appearance. Despite multiple cleaning operations by the school, the insects continue to reappear regularly, causing significant concern among parents, especially those with young children who rest or conduct activities indoors, who fear the creatures could crawl into children's ears or mouths. School officials suspect the massive infestation originated from an adjacent rubber plantation where sawdust is applied as soil fertilizer, creating ideal conditions for rapid breeding and migration into the school area. Teachers and parent representatives have urgently requested that local authorities conduct immediate inspections and develop solutions to resolve this problem as quickly as possible to ensure student safety and hygiene.
