Benz, son of Mae Phat, counters allegations and submits evidence to the Crime Suppression Division seeking action against the Sothornchai Nursing Home in Tha Mueang, Kanchanaburi, over fraud and false representation as a hospital, revealing the case of a missing 9-million-baht safe.
On October 29 at 10:00 AM, at the Central Investigation Bureau's complaint center, Chaleermrit Chindaworn, 40, known as Benz, accompanied by Nuwaphon Phusuntan (Lawyer Lookked) and legal advisor Natthaphon Phromloet, met with investigators from the Crime Suppression Division to file a complaint against the Sothornchai Nursing Home in Tha Mueang, Kanchanaburi.
Natthaphon stated the center regularly claimed to have doctors and nurses caring for patients 24 hours a day, but in reality it was only a nursing home without a resident physician. Furthermore, they sent photos and clips reporting Mae Phat was comfortable to collect money, which constitutes fraud. Currently, more than 30-40 victims from the center have contacted Lawyer Lookked's page to compile evidence for legal action.
Chaleermrit stated he did not flee abroad as rumored and personally retrieved Mae Phat from the center with her younger sister. He confirmed he did not visit the facility beforehand due to distance but tried to choose the best option for his mother, booking a private air-conditioned room. Regarding the cage images circulating in media, he insisted he had never seen them before and never confined his mother in a cage as accused. He said he was also a victim of the center's concealment of information.
On the safe and Mae Phat's assets alleged missing, worth nearly 9 million baht, Benz firmly denied taking any of his mother's assets, not even a single baht or item. He explained the safe was moved because his sister planned to rent out the house, so he was asked to help move it elsewhere, and he has proof. From what he saw when opening the safe with his sister, the value did not reach 9 million baht, nor were there many gold bars as claimed, only keepsake gold from grandchildren.
Chaleermrit admitted the news storm caused severe stress and panic attacks, requiring medical treatment and sedatives. He explained the delay in clarification was due to time needed to gather documents from government agencies. He added he just spoke with his mother about the situation yesterday and wants to resolve matters privately within the family rather than through media. "All my life, Mom would know when you do risky things, I've been the one handling many matters. Even the factory you mentioned, Mom must know what you're doing right now, and I don't want you being deceived by others," Benz said.
Meanwhile, Nuwaphon stated over 20 victims, including former employees, suppliers, and contractors, have come forward with information that an individual used legal tactics, filing complaints or lawsuits on charges like theft or locking them out of premises to achieve certain goals. Victims said seeing what happened to Benz, a son, encouraged them to speak out, reasoning "if a son can do this, what about others?" They have photos, clips, and electronic files ready to present as evidence.
