Taiwanese EMBA Alumni Host Golf Tournament in Bangkok

EMBA alumni and executives from 19 universities will connect in the 23rd "Taiwan-Thailand Taiwan EMBA Golf Tournament in Thailand" held in Thailand.

The alumni network and EMBA program directors from Taiwan have chosen Thailand as the venue for the "Taiwan-Thailand Taiwan EMBA Golf Tournament in Thailand," a national-level EMBA networking event for 2026. This marks the first time in 23 years the activity has been organized outside Taiwan, using sport as a bridge to foster goodwill and build cooperation networks in education, business, and society among Taiwan, Thailand, and other nations. The competition is set for October 26, 2026, at Riverdale Golf Club Bangkok and Bangkok Golf Club, with the Aalto University EMBA Golf Club as the main organizer, initiated by EMBA networks from Taiwanese universities. Around 320 attendees from 19 Taiwanese university EMBA networks, including alumni, executives, entrepreneurs, and distinguished guests from Thailand, Malaysia, the United States, China, and Japan, will participate, reflecting the strength of a network linking diverse institutions and industries.

The national EMBA golf networking tournament is an annual exchange aimed at promoting relationships among alumni, faculty, executives, and entrepreneurs through golf and social activities. Hosting the event in Thailand this year follows the concept "Sports Connect Relations, Education Connects Networks, Business Builds Cooperation," creating opportunities for international participants to exchange perspectives, experiences, and build cross-border relationships. The competition format includes Stroke Play at Riverdale Golf Club Bangkok and Challenge at Bangkok Golf Club, followed by a networking reception at Riverdale Golf Club to extend relationships and discuss future cooperation opportunities. Thailand's selection as the host reflects its role as a hub for regional exchange in Southeast Asia, particularly the multifaceted cooperation between Thailand and Taiwan in education, investment, business, and people-to-people ties. Beyond sport, the event expands networks among executives and entrepreneurs, promotes knowledge exchange between academia and industry, and lays foundations for new collaborations, showcasing the international potential of the Taiwanese EMBA network. The 23rd national EMBA golf networking tournament thus blends sport, education, and business to create a space of friendship that continuously connects people and cross-border opportunities.
