Ten Prae Teachers Scoop 6 Million Baht Lottery Prize
Ten teachers from Prae’s teachers’ cooperative won the six‑million‑baht first prize in the government lottery while traveling on a bus to a cooperative study trip in Kanchanaburi. Their winning ticket also matched the three‑digit front and rear numbers, sparking celebrations aboard the vehicle. The prize will be split among the ten members according to their share holdings.
The joyful moment unfolded at 4:10 p.m. on October 16, 2069 after the lottery results were announced. The Prae Teachers’ Cooperative study tour was traveling to Kanchanaburi when they learned the win. Director Mam, or Jintana Thin Tip, former principal of Baan Suan Khueng School and a cooperative committee member, shouted in delight, displayed the ticket numbered 011781 from the 40th draw, set 3, which matched the first‑prize six‑million‑baht award. Fellow teachers and committee members joined in the celebration, agreeing that they would celebrate that evening.
Jintana said she felt extremely happy to have won the top prize, noting that the ticket was purchased as a share through the teachers’ cooperative. Ten lucky teachers shared the prize: Kong Tham, Jinntana, Chang, Angkana, Satien, Pisanuvat, Lertsachai, Atthapong, Sanit, Panadda, and Phanuphong.
According to initial information, the winnings were divided according to each member’s share holdings. For example, Director Mam held one share, while Teachers Chang and Chiwin each held half a share, and Teachers Satien and Angkana together held one and a half shares.
In addition, the jointly bought ticket also won the three‑digit front number 392 and the three‑digit rear number 171 on the same ticket, further boosting the festive mood on the bus. The study trip thus turned into a lucky outing, filled with smiles and laughter as the whole bus celebrated the big win.
