Couple Wins 12 Million Baht in Government Lottery

A couple's life changed dramatically after winning first prize in the government lottery draw held on September 16, 2569, with two tickets bearing the number 730640, earning them a combined prize of 12 million baht.

On the evening of September 16, Pisanu, 39, a general laborer, and his wife Panaddha, 38, a private sector employee, visited investigators at Muang Nakhon Ratchasima Police Station to file an official daily report as evidence following their win.

Panaddha explained that she purchased the lottery tickets through a vendor in a lottery seller network who sent her photos of multiple ticket options. She was drawn to the ending digits 640, which she felt were auspicious, and selected two tickets with the number 730640 for 180 baht total.

When the results were announced and matched the first prize, she immediately called the vendor to verify. After receiving confirmation, she phoned her parents first to share the news, with both initially questioning whether it was real before she assured them.

The couple plans to use the 12 million baht to start a business, pay off debts, build family capital, support their children, give a portion to their parents, and make merit offerings. After being notified of their win, they traveled to Khon Kaen province to collect the tickets from the vendor, then brought them back and filed a report at Muang Nakhon Ratchasima Police Station to officially document their ownership of the 12 million baht winning tickets.
