"Teng" Leads Campaign with Itthiwat, Aspiring Pattaya City Mayor, Seeks Votes from Keha Thep Prasit Market Vendors

On May 24, 2569, Nattapong Rueangpanya, leader of the Pracharaj Party, accompanied prospective Pattaya City Mayor Itthiwat Wattanasastrasathan, along with Yodchai Peungphon, a Pracharaj Party representative from Chonburi District 9, and candidates for 24 city council positions in District 4. The team conducted a lively campaign at Keha Thep Prasit Market in Chonburi Province, meeting with merchants and business owners. The atmosphere was bustling as the candidates greeted residents, introduced themselves, and listened to concerns regarding economic and tourism issues. Merchants and citizens showed keen interest and requested photographs with the candidates.

Nattapong stated that the party enters this election with complete confidence, as Pattaya residents have supported the Pracharaj Party since the Anakhot Mai and Kok Klai era, repeatedly electing party representatives to serve in the national parliament. He emphasized that Itthiwat is from the salt farm area, possesses strong business management skills, has experience working in the Pattaya City Council, and genuinely understands the challenges facing residents.

Key policies include securing clean water supply for Koh Larn by exploring options such as extending pipelines from the mainland, which would reduce costs and improve accessibility compared to the current desalination method. Additional initiatives include policies specifically designed for night shift workers and plans to develop 24-hour childcare centers.

Regarding security, Itthiwat emphasized that public safety is a priority, particularly tourist safety, with plans to increase beach patrols to enhance protection for visitors during emergency situations.
