Thai Actors Namtan and Pipeh Announce Christmas Wedding Plans
Thai actors Namtan Pijjika and Pipeh Pathit have set their wedding date for later this year, with a family ceremony in Phrae province around Christmas and a second celebration in Bangkok early next year. The couple, who have been together for 14 years, plan to have a child immediately after marrying and shared details of their preparations at a recent event in Nonthaburi. Namtan confirmed that arrangements in Phrae are about 60% complete and expressed excitement about starting their new life together.
Namtan Pijjika announced that she will no longer refer to Pipeh Pathit as her 'girlfriend' after this year, saying they have finally secured an auspicious wedding date. The wedding will be held in Phrae province around Christmas, with a second celebration in Bangkok early next year. She revealed that preparations in Phrae are about 60% complete and that the couple plans to have a child immediately after marrying.
Speaking at the 'IN HARMONY UNIVERSE' event and the press launch for the film 'IN HARMONY' at the Grand Richmond Hotel in Nonthaburi on October 5, Namtan shared details: the Phrae ceremony will be a modest family affair following northern Thai traditions, while the Bangkok event will likely be a press conference and party. She noted that the guest list has grown beyond expectations, with over 400 attendees now expected, prompting concerns about accommodation and transport, with many guests planning to travel by train due to limited flight availability.
When asked about the exact date, she said the Phrae wedding will coincide with Christmas, a time deemed auspicious, and added that although they initially considered postponing until next year, they decided to finish the celebrations this year and start the next. She expressed excitement and nerves, emphasizing that it is their first wedding experience for both of them.
Regarding work, Namtan said Pipeh would like her to take a break after marriage, but she intends to keep working until the wedding and has already lined up a new drama series to film afterward, stating she enjoys working and plans to continue after marriage.
She concluded by reflecting on their 14‑year relationship, saying the long journey has made this moment especially meaningful and that she is thrilled to finally call Pipeh her husband.
