Thai Agri‑Innovation Goods Earn Over 8 Million Baht in Dubai
Thai innovative agricultural products earned over 8 million baht in negotiations and sales at the Beautyworld Middle East 2026 expo in Dubai, featuring 22 companies showcasing health and beauty items. The result highlights growing global interest and supports Thailand’s strategy to leverage its agricultural strength and the UAE’s trade hub role under the newly signed CEPA.
The showcase covered skin and hair care, spa and herbal, and fragrance products, all developed from Thai agricultural raw materials using local knowledge, wisdom and innovation to create value‑added goods that meet consumer demand. Participants from India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Mexico, Egypt and the Philippines expressed interest, confirming the products’ international appeal. The initiative reflects the Department of Foreign Trade’s policy to link domestic production capacity with foreign market demand, promote innovation, expand exports and build long‑term trade networks. It also notes that Thailand and the UAE have concluded their first free‑trade agreement (CEPA), which will enable Thai innovative agricultural goods to use the UAE as a hub for distribution across the Middle East.
