Regarding whether laws need to be strengthened to close loopholes, Arsit said that exploiting legal gaps is an operator's responsibility, and the government's duty is to act when violations are found. He emphasized that the public also plays an important role—anyone discovering illegal operations can report them to the Interior Ministry, after which authorities will take enforcement action.

The Thai Gold Traders Association announced that gold prices continue to fall on July 14, 2025. Ornamental gold (96.5% purity) is trading at 62,186.32 baht per baht-weight for buying and 64,450 baht per baht-weight for selling, down 650 baht from the previous day's closing price. The Thai Diving Sports Association is advancing youth athletes to the international stage by sending underwater hockey teams in the U15 and U19 age categories to compete in the 2026 CMAS Asian Championship Underwater Hockey from August 5–8, 2026, in Cisarua, Bogor, Indonesia, under the World Underwater Federation (CMAS).

The association has announced 22 athletes selected for the competition across both age groups. The U15 squad includes Chern Sarasuphap Kapaich, Kannathat Thanchokkittidorn, Kitruda Chinsawangwattanakul, Krus Sarasuphap Kapaich, Natphatch Bunyapendech, Thanaphut Thongsawasdi, Theetuch Namsomm, Barmethats Ngersom, Ratchcharita Chaitwitidanant, and Wawin Kaewpuang. Thailand's National Telecommunications Commission (NT) and Security Pitch have signed a new partnership agreement building on their earlier technology collaboration to launch the Pattaya Smart Pole Network by OneForce, a digital media and intelligent infrastructure system on 5G Smart Pole infrastructure in Pattaya. The project aims to use 5G technology, IoT systems, digital signage, and public safety systems to transform Pattaya into a world-class smart city, driving economic value in the area and helping brands efficiently reach Thai and foreign tourists and local residents with measurable results using Security Pitch's technology.

The agreement was signed on July 9, 2025, at NT's Sri Racha Customer Service Office in Chachoengsao Province, with participants including Piya Ratchaworakun, Assistant Managing Director of NT's Eastern Sales and Customer Operations Group, and Pakorn Thongjeen, Co-Founder and CEO of Security Pitch. The partnership covers use of Smart Pole 5G infrastructure and related equipment to provide public relations media, digital signage, smart city systems, IoT, and public safety services, as well as AI license plate recognition (LPR) analytics platforms and emergency broadcast capabilities to support Pattaya's sustainable smart city development.

This agreement represents significant progress following NT and Security Pitch's earlier partnership, signed on July 15, 2024, to develop integrated security technology and strengthen national digital trust. Pattaya, a major economic and tourism hub, serves as the pilot area for this collaboration through development of the Pattaya Smart Pole network, which functions both as central city digital media and as Smart City service infrastructure. This project marks the first tangible implementation of the NT-Security Pitch cooperation in a tourism destination.

Pakorn Thongjeen, Co-Founder and CEO of Security Pitch, stated: "This project would not have been possible without NT's cooperation, as it is one of the country's flagship initiatives. Pattaya is a world-class tourism city attracting over 18 million visitors annually, making its elevation to smart city status a significant step forward."

Offshun Kittipat Champa, head of production company Domundi, spoke with reporters at a series blessing ceremony for "Mon Rak Hak Eली" at PHENIX Bangkok about actor Got Ittipat's withdrawal from the BL series "Mr. Passenger." As of July 14, 2025, officials reported on developments in the tragic fire at a beer hall in the Ladprao area, which has caused severe losses with numerous injuries and deaths, as well as missing persons whose families continue to search for them. Among the 26 identified victims out of 29 total deaths are Nutthai Satcharalerd, Aphinan Pengsri, Pisanu Tangsopha, Nipaporn Chaemchaeng, Top Sorobol, Phonepaseut Poungppany (Laotian national), and others. The identities of the remaining three victims are still being confirmed. Forensic officials are conducting autopsies before bodies are released to families for funeral rites in their hometowns.
