Thai Queen Visits Japan to Watch Women's Ice Hockey Championship
The Thai Queen is set to visit Japan in October 2026 to attend the Women's Ice Hockey Asian Championship 2027, where she will present awards to athletes. She will watch the games at the Tsukisamu Ice Hockey Arena in Sapporo and travel by royal aircraft from Don Mueang Military Airport.
Her Majesty the Queen, serving as the World Women's Ice Hockey Ambassador for the International Ice Hockey Federation and upon the invitation of its president, will travel to Japan to watch the Women's Ice Hockey Asian Championship 2027 at the Tsukisamu Ice Hockey Arena in Sapporo from October 15 to 18, 2026. During her visit she will award medals and trophies to the competing athletes. She will depart and return by royal aircraft from Don Mueang Military Airport, leaving on Wednesday, October 14 at 08:00 and arriving back on Thursday, October 22 at 17:00.
