Thai Women's Volleyball Drawn With Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Australia
Thailand's women's volleyball team will face Kazakhstan, Indonesia, and Australia in Group B of the 2026 Asian Championship, taking place in China next August as the defending champions.
The Asian Women's Volleyball Championship 2026 (AVC Volleyball Continental Championship 2026) will be held in Tianjin, China, between August 21-30, 2026. The Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) has completed the group draw with China (host), Thailand (defending champion), and Japan (highest-ranked team) serving as seeded teams.
Thailand's women's volleyball team was placed in Group B alongside Kazakhstan, Indonesia, and Australia. Group A features China (host), Taiwan, Iran, and Iraq, while Group C includes Japan, Vietnam, South Korea, and Hong Kong.
In the opening round, the top two teams from each group, plus the two best-ranked third-place finishers, will advance to the quarterfinal knockout stage. The championship winner will earn automatic qualification for the 2027 World Championship, 2028 Olympics, and 2028 Asian Championship. The second and third-place finishers will also gain automatic berths to the 2027 World Championship.
