Thailand Launches 32nd Wildlife Photography Contest for Conservation
Thailand's Ministry of Natural Resources launched its 32nd annual Wildlife and Forest photography competition, inviting photographers nationwide to submit conservation-focused images with prizes exceeding 850,000 baht and free national park
Bangkok, July 21, 2025 – The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, working with Charoen Pokphand Group and its subsidiaries, is continuing its environmental conservation initiative through the 32nd annual "Wildlife and Forest" photography competition. The project invites professional photographers, amateur enthusiasts, youth, students, and nature lovers across Thailand to submit conservation-focused photographs, creating opportunities for society to experience the beauty of Thailand's ecosystems, forests, and wildlife while spreading awareness and fostering a collective commitment to protecting natural resources for the future.
This year's competition offers prestigious awards including royal patronage trophies and cash prizes exceeding 850,000 baht. The Department of National Parks, Wildlife, and Plant Conservation is also awarding special prizes including free access to national parks and wildlife sanctuaries nationwide, plus complimentary accommodation to promote conservation tourism. Winners will have the opportunity to closely experience Thailand's natural beauty while contributing to inspiring others to protect the country's biodiversity sustainably.
The contest accepts submissions in two levels—general public and students—divided into two categories: "Wildlife" and "Forests." Participants are invited to showcase the beauty and value of Thailand's wildlife, aquatic species, and forests through creative and powerful imagery that reflects the country's biological richness and diversity.
The competition welcomes professional photographers, amateur photographers, youth, students, and nature enthusiasts to contribute and inspire environmental conservation efforts while fostering appreciation for Thailand's natural resources. Every photograph submitted has the potential to spark meaningful change and serve as an important force in passing the value of nature to future generations. Submissions are open from today through August 31, 2025, via online registration at https://www.trueplookpanya.com/event/photocontest/login or by scanning the QR code on project promotional materials.
