Thailand Launches Digital System to Boost Thai Exporters' Global Reach
The Department of International Trade Promotion is developing a digital system to manage Thai product exports to global markets, aiming to support Thai SMEs in accessing foreign online markets. The platform will centralize project data, orders, and shipping to improve coordination and reduce duplication. Details on launch and participation will be announced by DITP.
DITP is moving forward with the development of the “System for Managing Thai Product Exports to Global Markets” to strengthen the readiness of Thai entrepreneurs and expand opportunities in foreign online markets. On October 6, 2069, the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, announced it is proceeding with the system under the procurement project for the same system, to serve as a digital tool supporting Thai businesses, particularly SMEs, so they can operate through international online markets. The system aims to integrate project management, product information, purchase orders, and shipping on a single platform to enhance cooperation among all stakeholders.
Expanding Thai products into foreign markets requires both product quality and management readiness, from preparing product information and coordinating with online store representatives to managing inventory and delivering goods to buyers. Developing the system therefore seeks to eliminate data duplication and coordination burdens while enabling entrepreneurs to monitor operations more systematically.
The system is designed to connect entrepreneurs and product owners, project managers, online store representatives abroad or Enablers, as well as warehouse and logistics service providers. Its goal is to support the entire process—from applying to the program, selecting products, listing them for sale, to tracking orders and delivery to the destination.
For Thai entrepreneurs, the system will facilitate access to trade promotion programs and product submissions for evaluation under each program’s conditions, while also managing product data, tracking work status, and displaying their own sales reports to aid production planning, inventory control, and business opportunity expansion.
On the management side, the system is being developed to consolidate purchase orders from connected online channels, link warehouse and transportation data, and store related documents via the central platform. Additionally, it will link information with Thaitrade.com to reduce redundant data entry and assist entrepreneurs who already have data.
An important component of the system is the development of role‑based dashboards and reports, allowing entrepreneurs, online store agents, and project managers to access relevant operational data to support decision‑making, planning, and systematic project monitoring.
The development of this system aims to lay the foundation for digital‑driven trade management, helping Thai entrepreneurs prepare to reach overseas buyers through online markets and strengthen long‑term competitiveness.
Entrepreneurs and interested parties can follow the system’s progress and related project information via the Facebook page ThaiTrade.com and the DITP’s public relations channels, with further details on launch dates and participation conditions to be announced by the department.
