In an era where haste may cause people to overlook simple joys, a simple question like "Do you remember what Mom likes to eat?" becomes a key to sparking thought and conveying family bonds.

Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF) organized the "CP Every Word Cares Film Awards 2026" vertical short film contest for youth, linking family institutions with cinematic language through the perspective of a new generation on TikTok, reflecting CPF's belief that "good food" is the starting point for strong physical and mental health for everyone in the family.
Anurat Churat, Chief Marketing Officer of Charoen Pokphand Foods, revealed the concept: CPF wants to support expressions of love and gratitude through meals, the heart of "care" that the brand has always upheld. Choosing a vertical short film contest opens opportunities for youth to use creative thinking, telling stories through a new, accessible video format that conveys emotion deeply. "This year's response far exceeded expectations in both quantity and quality. We saw storytelling across diverse cultures and languages, reflecting that while expression differs, the common thread is 'care' for the prompt 'Do you remember what Mom likes to eat?' Though it sounds simple and close, many overlook it. Using food as a medium helps stimulate attention to small details and spend more time with family," Anurat said.
Highlight of the awards ceremony: The Gold Award went to team "Thung Song Hometown" for a short film reflecting the mother-child bond through the atmosphere of a mookata restaurant, conveying the true story of a mother's love who always selects the best for her children, no matter what she gets herself. Representatives from Thung Song Hometown said the inspiration came from their real mothers who sacrifice to ensure their children are full, while realizing that true happiness for children is not just eating delicious food alone, but sitting down to eat face-to-face with Mom.
Film director and series creator Tile Kittiphak Thong-om, representing the judging panel, praised the new generation's work for its standout approach to familiar stories with fresh perspectives, charmingly blending digital technology and real ambient sound, encouraging all participants to use this experience to drive further skill development.
The "CP Every Word Cares Film Awards 2026" is another key milestone for CPF in campaigning for society to see the value of love and bonds starting from the family institution, through meals prepared with care for each other, to inspire and sustain the value of gratitude in Thai society.
